I have owned five other brands of hair strightener ranging from the cheapest up to more expensive that GHD and GHD is the only brand which achieves longer-lasting results. My hair is wavy and coarse and accumulatively, I hate to think of the hundreds (maybe even thousands) of hours I've spent taming my hair - GHD is much quicker and I've found I don't need to use any hair product to compensate for the dry, frizziness which other brands need after use.

Hi, i have bought the ghd ceramic straightners for my two sisters and they love them. They are the best straightners ever. My sister had frizzy hair and she always wanted her hair to be "dead" straight, so she told me about the ghd straightners, so i went out to get them. as soon as i bought them, we plugged the ghd in the socket and they heated up in less than 6 seconds! They are really powerfull. I read that the ghd can even straighten afro carabien hair too. I have a friend who is afro carabien and she used the ghd and her hair was "dead" straight! The ghd straightners are the best straightners in the world. I know that £100 for a sttraightner might sound too much, but its worth every penny, so go and get them. ghd, good hair days, yes!!

I have used so many flats irons in the 12 years that I have been flat ironing my curly hair and GHD is just amazing. One swipe and my hair is so straight and shiny and it makes my highlight look even better. Like other reviewers have said, with the GHD my hair stays straighter for longer then with any other professional iron I have had. I can go out in humid weather and my hair wont have a dent in it! GHD is the best you can buy and absolutely worth the money!

I love my new GHD, it heats up very fast, and leaves my hair silky and so soft. My natural hair are curly and dry, GHD does the miracle! I used to have the SEDU iron, and also, loved it, I would say, they are both equaly good

I bought my first set of ghds 5 years ago and have never looked back. In 5 years of daily use i have never had a problem, just years of smooth straight hair! in the last few weeks the straighteners have become slightly temperamental, occasionally switching themselves off, but i think i have well had my moneys worth out of them and would have absolutely no issue forking out for a replacement!
