i have naturally curly hair yet i still straighten it. with the ghd, it doesnt feel dry or damaged as it does when i use another straightener. i can still get amazing curls come throu also. the ends dont break off and my hair doesnt burn. i only recently purchased this product, i was using a different salon brand product before yet now, i will stick to my ghd and always recommend it to friends. its super easy.

I have had several hair straighteners before this and none have lived up to these. All previous ones pulled out or severely dried out my hair. I found that I often wanted to replace them within a year. I have had these straigheners for 4 years now and they are still in excellent working order, never pull my hair, and leave my hair sleek and shiny. I haven't been that gentle with them, and despite all the knocks & bangs they are still in one piece & working. In my view, its not worth buying cheaper versions as it's a false economy. You just end up replacing them sooner rather than later. Buying a more expensive professional set benefits your hair and pocket in the long run.

After serving me faithfully for 4 years my ghds finally gave up the ghost and no longer heat up - now I don't think 4 years is bad, at an average of £25 per year. However I was reliant on my straightners and so devastated when they finally died. Cue my best friend cutting all her hair off and no longer needing her

This is the best flat iron ever! I have very coarse hair , but had become very sparse due to all of the breakage caused by other flat iron .
