I have used pretty much every professional flat iron out there, T3, Sedu, Solia, Hai, Hana, Babyliss, Chi, Croc, Solano, Metropolis and others and have been using flat irons for over 10 years on my curls. I have a lot of experience with flat irons and Ghd is truly the best flat iron you can buy and the top of the line, totally worth the cost. My curl hair stays straight and shiny for much longer with the ghd then with other flat irons. You can also make gorgeous curls, waves and flips so it is super practical because it does a lot more then give you shiny smooth straight hair! It heats up amazingly fast, much faster then any of the other top professional flat irons that I have tried. There is a lot of hype about the ghd , the so called, "Rolls Royce of flat irons!" because it is really the best flat iron you can buy!

Ive owned two Chis and two Sedus. I liked the Sedu before getting the GHD. I thought the Sedu a bit better than the Chi - I didnt notice as much breakage or split ends. But the GHD is unquestionably the best! My hair is naturally curly, dry and frizzy but with the GHD it is shiny and healthy. It looks natural and bouncy. I get compliments all the time and people are shocked when I tell them my hair is naturally curly.I decided to leave my Sedu at my boyfriends house so I would have it as a backup. The other day I used it and could hear my hair snapping as I ran the Sedu through it. My hair felt much drier and was not nearly as shiny. I was skeptical about the price but it is completely worth it. The GHD is amazing!!!

it can heat up as fast as it does...15 - 20 seconds from the time you turn it on, until it is fully heated! It is light-weight, easy to handle, and leaves my frizzy, wavy, fine hair, silky smooth for days.
